Our Safeguarding Team

The Safeguarding Team is here to support children, young people, and adults, and to ensure safeguarding concerns are responded to appropriately and sensitively.

We provide advice and guidance, manage safeguarding concerns, and support parishes directly. We work alongside parishes and partner agencies to promote safer practice and a culture where safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. This includes providing training, safer recruitment guidance, and support with safeguarding policies and procedures.

If you are worried about someone, unsure how to respond to a concern, or something doesn’t feel right, please contact a member of the Safeguarding Team. We will listen, take your concern seriously, and explain what will happen next.
