Church Archaeology
Individual reports on each church site within the CofE Birmingham were published in 2015, as part of a Diocesan Archaeological Assessment.
The assessment was intended to assist parishes, their agents and the Birmingham DAC in consideration of the archaeological implications and requirements of proposed works, and in preparation of Statements of Significance.
The following documents provide the archaeological reports for all churches within each deanery in the CofE Birmingham, together with an introduction to the assessment and a guide to the individual reports.
