We have three Church Majority Multi-Academy Trusts:
- The Birmingham Diocesan Multi-Academy Trust (BDMAT)
- All Saints Multi-Academy Trust
- Fioretti Trust
The Birmingham Diocesan Multi-Academy Trust (BDMAT)
The BDMAT has been set up as an option for schools wishing to become part of a multi-academy trust to consider. It launched on 1 September 2017 and currently 19 of our schools sit within the MAT.
The BDMAT recognises that the future of schools lies in formal collaborations: schools working together in partnership to offer Life in all its fullness for the young people who attend them. It also recognises the very distinctive purpose of Church schools and seeks to offer a place where they can continue to provide high quality education, knowing that this particular ethos will be protected into the future.
The CEO of the BDMAT is Christopher Mansell. Information about the BDMAT Board of Directors can be accessed on the BDMAT website, where you can also find out more about the MAT's vision and ethos, its staff and governance, its policies, the schools within the MAT and the MAT's current programme of training and support.
If you are interested in the potential of your school joining the BDMAT and would like to find out more, in the first instance please contact the Birmingham Diocesan Director of Education.
