Responsible to: Head of Communications
Key Objectives:
As a Content Creator, you’ll create and publish engaging content for our social media channels. You will help tell the story of what is happening locally and globally in a fresh way. The aim is to communicate effectively whilst growing our audience. As part of this, you’ll ideate concepts, develop and execute campaigns plus write compelling copy that drives growth and engagement across the ministries of Gas Street Church and other expressions including Gas Street Music.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Ideate concepts that make strategic sense for our platforms
- Communicate what’s happening across the different ministries of Gas Street Church
- Develop and execute campaigns to support the initiatives and values
- Create and manage regular and engaging content for each channel
- Execute content schedules
- Execute marketing briefs on projects
- Capture and edit video content for use on TikTok’s, Shorts & Reels
- Manage and grow the social volunteer team
- Create and implement strategy for platform growth
- Conceptualise creative direction for media campaigns
- Design and manipulate existing graphics and artwork
- Identify and explore new opportunities and trends for content creation
- Use effective copy to help strengthen SEO for our platforms

- There is a genuine occupational requirement that the post-holder be a practicing Christian
- Enhanced DBS required
Working requirements & Benefits:
- Full-time, permanent role (37.5 hours per week) - happy to talk flexible working
- Sunday is a working day
- 25 days annual leave
+ statutory bank holidays
+ additional days during office closure at Christmas
+ three retreat days across the year (one per term)
- Evening and weekend flexibility as required
