Senior Project Manager

The vision of Church of England Birmingham (CofEB) is ‘Growing churches at the heart of each community’. These churches will be diverse, welcoming, sustainable and vibrant; having a positive impact on their communities by demonstrating the love of God. Our projects are currently bringing about change and making a huge difference in our communities. Projects fall into four themes. Church Planting and Revitalisation where we look to do new things to engage with new people. Parish Growth through which we support existing parishes to grow. Leadership has a series of projects that help us find, form and deploy new leaders. Sustainability has projects that support our parishes, and CofEB as a whole, to become a sustainable entity. These projects are all led by passionate experts who are creative and engaged but not always equipped with a project skill set.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO). They will work with project leads to manage a number of projects to make sure they are well planned, financially robust and that they have everything in place to make the desired impact. They will effectively be responsible for the day-to-day management of all projects, from a PMO perspective, through direct management of projects or management of Project Managers. They will report to the Director of Strategic Transformation and together create new projects to deliver our strategy moving forward.
