The Rector of Kings Norton as Patron and the Bishop of Birmingham seek a Vicar of the parish of the Ascension, Stirchley, in south Birmingham.
The priorities of this ‘open, generous and faithful’ parish are to grow its relationships with young people and families; to grow as a local, accessible Christian community and to develop the use of its land and buildings.
The person appointed will also be Associate Priest of the neighbouring Cotteridge Church, a thriving Anglican/ Methodist/United Reformed Church LEP, for up two days per week. If you are a prayerful, inclusive Anglo-Catholic with missional and pastoral gifts and the flexibility to work in different contexts and partnerships, we would love to hear from you.
