Diocesan Advisory Committee

The Birmingham Diocesan Advisory Committee for the Care of Churches (DAC) provides guidance on applications for faculties and List B works. Churches are encouraged to engage with the DAC early when planning a project for their church building to receive initial advice.

The DAC meets six times a year. To have a case considered at a meeting, submissions must be made at least two weeks prior to the meeting date. Incomplete submissions may be deferred, so it is recommended to contact the DAC secretary in advance to ensure all necessary information is provided.
