This accessible and adaptable digital platform offers innovative, digital delivery of tailored resources from a range of providers’ resources that encourage and equip a Jesus Christ shaped life. The aim is to attract 100,000 users by 2023.
The journeys – series of reflections, prayers, and guidance – are practical, purposeful tools for Christians of all ages in a variety of contexts. A key formational aim is to better convey how the Five Marks of Mission are expressed in daily life – at home, through our work and interests, and in serving local communities. These journeys vary in length. Some of weekly and some daily. They help form habits of prayer and worship in the whole of life. Reflections share insights from the bible and doctrine as practical wisdom for Christian living.
The portal is personalised to help make relevant content more easily discoverable and sharable. It features in-built connectivity to diocesan resources and offers a mechanism for direct delivery of these. A priority in the coming weeks is to source the most appropriate content to maximise diocesan coverage. The portal has been developed to integrate with A Church Near You. This re-enforces connections to local worshiping communities and will enable churches to use journey’s as key tools in their formation and equipping work.
