A Pilgrimage from your own home, a chance to punctuate your day with prayer and reflection using the rhythm of a community in Taize, France, who have been worshiping this way for decades.
Annually, each Summer, Bishop Anne leads young adults from CofE Birmingham, to Taize. This is not possible so together with our colleagues from the Hereford and St Albans Diocese, we are offering you ‘Taize at Home’, a version of Taize that you can access from wherever you are.
Whatever age you are, you will be able to join in the daily Taize rhythm of prayer in the morning, lunchtime, and evening, as well as taking part in the Friday and Saturday evening acts of worship all hosted on the ‘Taize at Home’ Facebook page.
If you are between the ages of 18-35 you can also take part in the daily Bible study on zoom, gathering with other young adults to study the Bible, lead by the Taize community and hosted by Bishop Richard (Hereford) & Bishop Michael (Hertford). This will give you a taste of the community feel and atmosphere that is created at Taize and enable you to sample this before perhaps joining our pilgrimage next year to Taize itself. You will need to book your place on the Zoom gathering, you can do this on the Taize at Home Facebook page.
