The Path to Mission and Ministry with Young People, Children and Families and Young Adults - Flex

Remember Flex? Well, Flex is on Pathways and now under its new name The Path to Mission and Ministry with Young People, Children and Families and Young Adults – or Flex for short!

Are you in ministry with children and young people? Then start with the core modules in 'The Path' and then move into 'Tracks' to build your own pathway from a growing selection of individual leadership modules for different contexts and ministries. Just use the Hashtag ‘Flex’ to highlight modules relevant to you or click on one of the 7 Themes. You can choose from a wide range of modules including Leading Young Leaders, Thinking Theologically about Youth Work, Engaging with Hinduism, Setting up Youth Work from Scratch and Mental Health and Young People.

We know it's been a tough year and we have just the thing for you:

At a Loss

Life has changed forever. For children and young people, the ‘honeymoon period’ of an extended ‘holiday’ has lost its novelty and there are no templates for how ‘to be’. This module deals with the issue of loss with regard to our current situation.

In this module Pete from Listening People (part of AtaLoss.org) will talk you through some Tough Stuff Training with a presentation for you to watch before moving onto some reflective questions to help you process your learning experience. This module is now available in Tracks under the theme Presence.

So what’s new?

Well, we might look a little different and be living in a new space, but Flex is still bringing you children, young people, young adults, and family focused modules for you to work through at your own pace, at a time that suits you with no pressure, what can we say it’s in our name: The Path to Mission and Ministry with Young People, Children and Families and Young Adults - Flex

Don’t wait ... Go to Pathways: All courses to explore Flex on the Pathways Platform and to register. Questions? Ask the Pathways team by emailing Pathways@cofebirmingham.com.
