We at the Church of England Birmingham are delighted to welcome Revd Canon Esther Prior as our next Bishop of Aston.
Bishop Guli Francis-Dehqani, the Bishop of Chelmsford, visited the Birmingham diocese to meet with local councillors and members of the newly established Church Development Agency (CDA).
I encourage us to hold victims and survivors of abuse in prayer, now and always, and to honour and learn from their examples of courage and bravery.

A small sub group from the CofEB Racial Justice Board has been formed to focus of activities for the 2024 Black History Month (BMH) which is celebrated annually across the UK during the month of October.
In early December a group of around 15 people including representatives from each of our parishes came together at the Diocesan Office in Birmingham to think about how we were going to proceed as an ‘oversight area’.
